This R.I.S. has aged for 15 months on chestnut barrels used to produce an excellent Sicilian Marsala.
The result bis a complex beer, soft on the nose, woody, slightly alcoholic with short vinous moments.
Marsala is a fortified wine comparable to sherry and port.
As with sherry the solera methode is used to age the wine.
